TERNA Systems AB enters the Norwegian market with AMS as a reseller
TERNA Systems (TERNA) is entering the Norwegian market through a partnership with Anlegg & Maskin Support AS (AMS) as a reseller of TERNA3D™. The partnership brings together TERNA’s state of the art machine control technology and AMS’s local market knowledge and experience in installation, service and support.
Until recently, AMS was a successful, long-standing Leica Geosystems reseller in Norway. The company has extensive experience in installation, calibration and specialist field support. Its strengths also include managing digital project data, file conversion and terrain models, so that design data works as intended in the machine.
“Norwegian contractors are accustomed to advanced machine control and have high expectations of both reliability and functionality. After many years of selling and servicing established systems, we know what it takes to earn their trust. We have seen TERNA3D™ perform in complex projects and demanding environments, and we are confident that it meets the needs of the Norwegian market. For us, this is the next generation of machine control, and we believe TERNA has what it takes to become a leading player here,” says Magnus Bergsjøbrenden of AMS.
Viken Maskin AS, based in Gjerdrum, has been using TERNA3D™ on its new Volvo ECR235E with a Steelwrist tiltrotator since August 2026.
“I was up and running on site after just an hour or so. TERNA3D™ is very easy to navigate and suits the way I work. When new features are released, I can quickly get to grips with them and start using them in my day-to-day work,” says Torben Olsen, machine operator at Viken Maskin.
TERNA’s hardware and software, developed in-house, form an integrated machine control platform together with TERNACloud™. Development and manufacturing are based in Sweden, maintaining a close connection between users and product development.
“Norway is one of the most advanced markets for machine control. The fact that an experienced company such as AMS sees TERNA as a future leader means a great deal to us. We have built our platform from the ground up, developing hardware and software together. This lets us respond quickly to users’ needs and deliver new functionality without having to work around legacy technology. That is what the market demands today. Norway is the next step in our ambition to have a presence across the Nordics in the near future,” says Dag Sjöqvist, CEO and co-founder of TERNA Systems.
The partnership gives Norwegian customers access to:
- TERNA3D™ with local installation, calibration and operator training via AMS.
- Local service and support in collaboration with TERNA’s technical team.
- The option to purchase or subscribe, depending on the needs of the business.

TERNA and AMS will exhibit together at Park og Anleggsmessen on 4–5 November 2026 at NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrøm, Hall E · E01-07. Come and meet the teams, learn more about TERNA3D™ and discuss machine control for your business.
